Used some of my DIY pencil embellishments for this page. <3 They were so little.
I loved making these cute little pencil embellishments from scraps! I used scallop deco scissors for the sharpened edge on the pencil. Very fun. <3 I’ll share more details tomorrow!
These Americana style tags were a free make and take I offered at my farmer’s market booth a few years ago. I love how the colored ink looks on the kraft cardstock, and of course, baker’s twine will always have my heart! I could see these tied onto a hostess gift if you were going to a BBQ or something. Happy 4th!
There were some beautiful washi stickers I saw recently, however, they had been a kit exclusive and I was unable to buy them. So, counterfeit it is! I went through my stamps, selected sentiments that were similar to the stickers, then matched up ink and background stamps to most closely mimic the look of the stickers I liked.
I stamped my background stamps onto vellum to achieve the translucent effect that washi gives, then heat embossed the sentiments in white to echo the original style. I ran the strips through my Xyron sticker maker, and voila! ;) Some gorgeous washi style stickers, all from my stash. If you scroll back over the past week, you’ll see the layouts I used these on!
