HACK FOR MAKING YOUR SCRAPBOOK TITLES POP

Today’s video is a process video of a 4th of July-themed single-page 8 1/2 x 11 scrapbook layout featuring the use of a digital die-cut–and includes a simple, QUICK, idea for helping small titles stand out against a patterned paper background. You can watch the video or check out the idea below the video!

It’s so easy! Just outline your title letters with a fine tip black pen–it’s quick, easy, and you don’t need any extra supplies! It provides an instant shadow effect and effortlessly helps your title pop. Even with little mistakes, the eye will “read” the title and glide right over those. ;)

Christmas Cards I Received!

I got permission to share some of the Christmas cards I received as part of a swap. It is one of my favorite parts of the holiday season each year. Hopefully you will get some ideas for your next round of cardmaking!

2021 Christmas Card Share

I made a nice little stash of cards this year (although far fewer than I’d planned on! 😅), using dies, stamping, a clearance find card stack paper pad, and a clearance card kit. Do you like to make Christmas cards? Or do you send cards this time of year at all?

Gotta love ice cream!

I scored an American Crafts die cut pack of layering pieces with a ice cream theme for CHEAP at Tuesday Morning–and it is making seemingly endless cards!! Love it when that happens. :)
