In almost all the pictures you have used, there is a running current of browns, so brown is the perfect background color! While one might think the opposite, the bright and cheery foreground colors perk up the layout and perfectly pair with the brown. So there! This must have been a fun trip!
I always have a hard time when I get a collection and don’t love the papers. I’m stubborn and insist on using them. Sometimes I mix them in with other papers I do love. Sometimes I make a layout and hope it grows on me.
