LO: Meeting the Grandparents

OK, so that’s not technically what this layout is titled. But it is what the layout is about! ;-)  This is a two-page layout, with four photos–one photo each as grandparents held Baby Girl for the first time. Journaling reads, “Your grandparents just could not wait to meet you, baby girl.  Papa, Granny, Grandpa, and Grandma got to KC as quickly as they could the day you were born, and spent all day holding you.”

Used up some big, gold chipboard letters for that title–and figured out just how many vowels we crammed into her name!  The butterfly stickers were very old, and received the pop-dot treatment after being dusted with baby powder on the back.  Gold mist, fussy-cut hexagons, and sequins were scattered to move your eye across the page.  Stamping and heat embossing were used to create a visual triangle of captions.  Finally, a custom journaling block was built using graph paper, MME trim, and more stamping.  TFL!

  1. What a wonderful moment to capture the love and admiration of grandparents on Amelia’s BIRTH day! You layout is just beautiful with lots of interest, yet nothing distracting from those precious photos! Well done, AM!
